You guys know I don’t do sponsored posts and rarely talk about brands on here. When I do, it’s because I’ve met some pretty amazing people that either represent the brand or they have a product I truly like and use. During BlogHer11, I met Nigel & Ayo, the amazing couple who started Dolphin Organics. You all know I am very picky about the food that comes into our home and into our bodies; but what I haven’t been as strict on is what we are putting on our bodies.
Just take a look at the baby shampoo label. They list their ingredients and whether they are organic, natural, or artificial (which none of them are). While many brands say they are organic and natural they fail to mention they also use artificial ingredients. I don’t know about you, but I personally don’t carry an ingredient dictionary with me to the store!
I was given a travel pack to bring home from the conference. My kids were excited to have new bath products to use that were “just for them.” So far, we’ve used every item and they love them. While the shampoo and conditioners don’t say “tear free” on the bottle, my kids said they didn’t sting when it got on their eyes. Alex has loved the lotion on his body; he is a sucker for massages. The conditioner works great and does not weigh down my daughter’s ultra fine hair (which gets tangled A LOT). Conditioner is a necessity for both of us girls and Dolphin Organics’ conditioner even worked well on my hair. Now, that’s incredible.
I plan on purchasing full sized bottles shortly and using them exclusively on our children. I hope you take a look at Dolphin Organics’ products if for nothing more but to educate yourself on how companies should list their product ingredients. You can also check their Facebook page to keep up with any specials, news and new products. Nigel & Ayo, thank you for your dedication to educating us parents on safe ingredients to put on our bodies.
I was not compensated for this post and the opinions above are my own.
