10 Things You Don’t Know About Me

Last week I re-united with a long lost friend and we were catching up on what seems like a lifetime.  Ok, only about a decade… but she kept saying… “wow, I didn’t know that about you!” I figured I’d entertain your Monday morning by telling you 10 things you probably didn’t know about me.  All are true and some are from a long time ago.

1. I have a thing for cars.  Fast cars.  Some of my favorite movies are Ronin, The Italian Job and The Fast and The Furious.
2. I’ve had so much dental work and oral surgeries done that I could probably have used the money to buy one of those fast cars.
3. I love apple fritters.  I eat one once every five years or so… but they are delicious.
4. I don’t like mashed potatoes or yams and Thanksgiving is my least favorite holiday.
5. I don’t like tea.  I only drink it iced and when I nurse (nursing tea), otherwise, herbal green teas make me gag.
6. I don’t see the point of bath gel.  It washes right off and it’s a waste of money. I like soap bars.
7. I had a tongue ring once; well, twice actually.
8. I hate football.  I despise it. I usually go to the grocery store during football games.
9. I like expensive lingerie.  Sexy, expensive lingerie.  Once I stop nursing I plan on using it again.
10. I once wore a Halloween costume made entirely of saran-wrap.
